In conjunction with the World Vegan Day, Israel has released a short video on its Twitter account to introduce the biggest vegan capital in the world. With the most vegans per-capita and over 400 vegan and vegetarian restaurants, Tel Aviv is definitely a capital with many vegan gems.

Israel is blessed with variety of food that are vegan by design such as hummus, tahini and falafel. But the list has grown over the years and vegans in Tel Aviv are now served with many other unique dishes like the vegan burgers from Meshek Barzilay, wide tray of amazing vegan breakfast from Anastasia, vegan cheese, raw vegan desserts and many more.

Nearly all restaurants in Israel have vegan options on their menu and over thousands of products, restaurants, events, blogs and lectures have the vegan-friendly label displayed.
